Welcome to Blackmoor Health Clinic.

Blackmoor Health Clinic was established in 2001 by Alison Allison who has 30 years experience of working in healthcare. The clinic has a quiet treatment room with ground floor access and easy parking. A range of complementary therapies to help maintain good health at any age from birth onwards are offered.

The clinic is fully open and following safe practice guidelines in line with Government and BAcC Covid safe practices. All patients are required to wear a mask, as will the practitioner, and hand washing is encouraged on entry and departure from the clinic. An updated consent and screening form is available at each appointment and can also be seen here on the privacy policy page.

November Update

The clinic remains open as above for all patients in line with advice from the British Acupuncture Council:

“The position of the BAcC is that acupuncture performed by our members is included within the definition of ‘medical services’ and should therefore be able to practice. We are supported in this classification by the Professional Standards Agency. This means that our members should be able to practice in BAcC phase 3: Urgent care and high needs.

It is down to individual professional judgement who fits into the category of Urgent Care and high needs. This can depend on whether the patient is likely to require further medication or see a GP if they weren’t treated until after the lockdown.”

Any concerns or questions please just give us a ring!
